The Aboite Clays Shooting Team is a 503(c) organization that provides instruction and promotes the benefits of shotgun sports for youth in Northeast Indiana.
Our Team is based in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Trap and Skeet Shotgun Shooting for Middle & High School Aged Youth
The Aboite Clays team is made up of both new and experienced shooters, many of whom did not shoot until joining our team. We have coaches on staff to teach shooting principles and to provide firearms and instruction for every level of shooter.
Our Team
Our team is made up of approximately 20 shooters who have a range of experience and target a variety of disciplines. Each shooter, regardless of skill level, is able to participate in two annual “shoots” during the summer months. Traveling to shoots is a wonderful all-around experience for our team and our families and coaches.
Our Coaches
We are privileged to have a world class shooter as our head coach - Mr. Larry Easley. Larry has extensive experience in helping youth start out in the sport, fitting them to guns, giving them lessons, and helping them to learn the foundational principles of shotgun dynamics and shooting patterns. He is joined by excellent and dedicated team coaches and volunteers, some who are parents and grandparents of team shooters, who are unfailing in their support for our youth and our team!
